THE PREMIER'S OPPONENT.
Mr Joseph Grimmond, formerly mcml er of the House of Representatives for Hokitika, who contested the last election with the Premier, is going to England, partly on pleasure and partly with a view to floating a company to bring a large water supply to the Rimu goldfield. He was presented with an address at Ross on Saturday, and was entertained at Hokitika last night.
