RANGIORA. There was a full attendance at tho Rangiora market yesterday . At the Central Yards there was an entry of 4500 sheep, SO cattle, and 75 pigs. All stock except cattle were readily cleared at the following prices : — Fat cross-bred sheep 8s to 9s, fat merinoes 5s to 6s, cross-bred breeding ewes 7s 6d to 9s, older sorts 4s to 6s ; merino breeding ewes 2s 6d to 3s, four-tooth store wethers 9s 6d to 9s Bd, two-tooth do 7s to Bs, boilers 9d to Is; cattle— beef equal to 18s per 1001 b, springers ,£4 to £4- 12s Cd, dry cows and heifers £2 10s to .£3, yearlings £1 to .£1 ss, calves 10s to 15s ; pigs — light baconers 30s to 345, porkers 15s to 245, good stores 16s to 18s, small do 8s to 12s, weaners 2s 6d to 3s fid. In the produce yards the prices were : — Pelts 9cl to 2s 3d, late shorn and inferior skins 3d to 6d; fowls Is 6d to 2s 6d; geese 4s to os pair ; chickwheat 3s ; Cape barley 2s 9d ; oats Is lOd to 2s Id ; feed barley 2s 3d to 2s 6d; ryegrass seed (farmers') 2s to. 2s 9d, machine-dressed do 3s 3d to 3s 8d ; peas 2s 9d to 3s 6d ; potatoes 3s to 4s cwtj bran 60s ton; sharps 80s ; cheese 2d to 4£d lb -, flour (unknown brands) 15s to 17s sack, do guaranteed 225 ; apples 2s to 3s case. At the North CanterfoiTi-y Saleyarcls there -was an entry o£ about 500 sheep. Store lambs sold at from 6s 6d to 8s sd ; cross-bred ewes to 8s 6d ; merino ewes 2s to 3s ; two-tooth crossbred wethers 7s.
