<*~ ■ TPer Press Association/) WELLINGTON, Feb. 23. Mr A. G. Johnston, who superintended the arrangements on the occasion of Lord Glasgow's departure, has received a letter thanking him for his exertions, and stating that both Lord Glasgow and Lady Glasgow : were deeply touched at the splendid farewell given them. The Union Company and other firms, whose steamers were thrown open for public use, are also thanked, Mr F. H. Frasor has been elected chairman of the Harbour Board. Mr Gale's resolution regarding the building of a graving dock and reducing import charges has been postponed by the Harbour Board to a special meeting.
