Hall (third en list), Cordery, ~ Fanning, Muir, Harvey, Hampton, Picken, Eyan,,Morkane, Chambers, Annie Doyle, Pavitt, Ethel Perkins, Garton, Euth Barker, Edith Ellison. Eangiora — Furby. Tinwald — Schneider. Timaru — Esther King, Jessie : Strachan, Fitzgerald. Ashburton — Eva Jones, Kate Standish. Two hundred and ninety-eighb candidates passed the junior Civil Service examination. M. A. Hunter, of Mercer, was first on the list, and B. Keys, Blenheim, : second.
