Both Shipping Companies—the New Zealand and the Shaw, Savill and Albion — have decided upon reductions which will leave the rates as follows :— By steamer : Greasy wool, halfpenny per lb ; scoured, five-eighths of a penny per lb ; othqr cargo same as by sailer. By sailing ship: Greasy wool, three-eighths of a penny per lb ; scoured, halfpenny per lb.
