WELLINGTON, Feb. 22. Mr C. Wilson, one of the Government candidates for the city at the last election, announces himself for the suburbs seat.

Ministers state that it improbable that Parliament will meet so soon as March 18, even if an arrangement is made with the Opposition for a short session. If anything is done, however, it will probably be before Easter.
