Volunteers. — The usual monthly meeting of the Non-commissioned Officers' Club will be held at the orderly-room this evening, at eight o'clock, when Lieutenant Smith, of the College Rifles, has consented to read a paper. Sydenham Band. — The annual meeting of the Sydenham Band was held on Monday evening. Mr J. M'Lean occupied the chair. The balance-sheet was read and adopted unanimously. The election of officers resulted as follows : — President, Mr W. White, jun. ; vice-presidents, Messrs D. Neave, W. White, sen., W. Thompson. A. Begg, W. Brew, A. J. Lawrence, J. Brown, jun., F. C. Hall and Rev E. A. Scott ; secretary, Mr Ernest Gohns ; treasurer, Mr W. Petrie ; trustees, Messrs S. Purse and J. M'Lean ; committee, Messrs C. Schmoll, A. Gunner, J. Burgess, W. J. Mitchell and J.
