A verdict of accidental drowning, was returned. ' The jockeys R.Wilson andC. Cochrane, -who were hurt at the races at Tinwald on Saturday, are both in the Ashburton hospital, and are progressing as favourably aa can be expected, considering the serious nature of their injuries. . Mr H. Jones, the cabman who was injured iby a collisioj- with the north train at the ■Colombo Street crossing on Saturday •morning, and who was taken to the hospital, was in a very precarious state -.last night.
