Saturday, Jan. 2. (Before Mr A. Chalmers, J.P.)
Drunkenness, &c. — Andrew Jeffrey was charged with being drunk and disorderly on tho wharf on Jan. 1. He was fined 10s, or the usual alternative. He was further charged with committing an assault in view of Sergeant Rutledge, and was fined 10s, or in default four days' imprisonment. — A first offender was convicted and discharged.
