A SONNET OF FABTH.
I am not daunted by the show of thint*a, Nor do I pass them with averted eyes, Feiguini? I do not see, nor on the wings Of light deluding fniicy do I riso, And from afar the radiant world behold . Iv happy silence spinning smoothly byNay, but by night and day, iv heat and cold, Among the multitude who toil and die I come and go, observant, near at hand, Regarding Life with eyes that do not shrink • I sco the victor on his cai rion stand, And see in impious blood tho vanquished sink, Yea, even behold where waits tho delved sod, Yet sing unfaltering of the soul and God.
