WEST LTTTELTON.
The annual distribution of prizes to the scholars of the West Lyttelton school took place yesterday afternoon. The fluids to procure the prizes were subscribed by the parents of the children, and the awards were presented by Mr) J. R. Webb, chairman of the School Committee. At the conclusion of the distribution cheers were given for the donors, the committee and the teachers. The following is the list of awards :— r Merit.— Standard V., John Wilson (dux, Masonic prize), Charle3 Lindsay, Fred. liewin and Ethel Fletcher (dux, Masonic prize).
