THE HAMBUEG DOCKERS. [Per Press Association.! HAMBURG, Dec. 4. A general strike has been proclaimed here. One thousand labourers have gone out. It is feared that the leaders in Autwerp will adopt similar measures. A hundred of the Berlin police have been sent here to assist in preserving order. Dec. 6. The employers state that the dockers of England have advised the acceptance of the terms offered, as therein is the only semblance of success, and that the men had better prospects when Mr Mann organised the ports on the Continent.
BRUSSELS, Dec. 5. The Chamber of Deputies has rejected a motion tabled condemning the attitude of the Government in expelling from Antwerp the British Labour delegates who were advocating a strike. Members of the Government intimated that they were determined that foreigners should be not allowed to disturb the peace.
