« THE ACCIDENT TO THE TAKAPUNA. A telegram from Wellington states that a diver was sent down yesterday morning to examine the hnll of the steamer Takapuna, which touched on a reef on her passage to Nelson, and which came back to Wellington this morning. It was ascertained that she had suffered no damage further than that a little paint had been scraped off the keel.
