A cablegram has been received from London asking whether the directors of the Prince Charlie, Whangamata, agree to the following proposal :— An option be granted to March 31 next for the formation of a new company with a capital of £175,000, working capital of .€25,000 to be provided, the present shareholders to receive 50.000 fully paid-up shares of .£l. The proposal has been accepted. The directors of. the Young New Zealand Gold-mining Company have received a cablegram asking whether they would agree to amalgamate with an adjoining property (the Waitekauri United) on the following terms : — Present shareholders to receive J2IOOO cash and .£25,000 fully paidup shares. The Board accepted the offer and cabled to London accordingly. Infoi^mation has been received by Mr White that a further sum of .£SOO on account of the working capital .of the Maori Dream, Kuaotnnu, will be forwarded it the beginning of the new year. The directors of the Cambria Golden Mining Company have concluded the disposal of that company's property to the Anglo-Continental Gold Syndicate, Limited, for JE7450 shares fully p"aid to £\ in the Moanatairi Gold-mining Company, being it the rate of one share in the Moanatairi to every six now held in the Cambria. The shares will be borne on the Moanatairi colonial register, and will be allotted as soon as the scrip arrives from London. Meantime instructions have been given to ipply for protection for the claim, pending 3ue transfer of the'property. A resolution has been carried authorising the directors of the Orion Gold-mining Company to dispose of the company's property on such terms and conditions as jhey might think lit.
