Bowling Analysis.— Stemson, 78 balls, 5 maidens, 30 runs ; Neill, 84 balls, 1 maiden, 54 runs, 4 wickets; Hay, 54 balls, 6 maidens, 10 rnns, 5 wickets ; Hawkins, 30 balls, 1 maiden, 24 runs ; Clayton, 24 balls, 1 ma : den, 17 runs, 1 wicket. WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. The match was resumed at 11 a.m., with a poor attendance, and a high wind blowing. Cuff and G. Mills knocked up 64 before the former was bowled for 46, including seven 4's, though he should have been easily caught in the first over. The wicket was bumping a good deal, and at noon five wickets were down for 92 runs, Mills 18, Neill and Wynyard 18 each, Hay 0. Messrs P. Wilding, T. D. Harman and C. R. Smith have been appointed a sub-committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council, to make final arrangements in connection with the visit of the Queensland Eleven, and will meet to-morrow night to arrange for dates of matches and settle other matters. Advices from Queensland state that the team -will be picked from the following eighteen .* — T. Byrnes, W. Brodley, R. Wilson, R. O'Brien, fci. P. Jones, W. Lewis, (Graziers' Club) ; W. Hoare, S. Donahoo, W. M'Glinchy, D. Miller, O. Cowley, H. Freeman (Graziers' B team) ; Dr M'Donald, 0. Hitchcock (Brisbane Club) ; A. E. Austin (Oakfield .Club);. J. Blockstock. (Kangaroo . Point) ; R. M'Graw (Albert Club) ; and MP. Ramsay (Toowoomba.) At lunch time the score was : —
Ou resuming, Clayton was caught by Hales off Warren for 5, 1. Mills (not out) 2, extras 7. The innings closed for 142 runs, leaving Wellington 215 to get to -win. College Second played a team.from the Post and Telegraph, and a very even day's cricket was witnessed. Scores— College 157 (Fryer 70, Cotterill 28 and Elworthy 17) ; Post and Telegraph 74 for four wickets (Bennett 27, Gannaway 19 and Brooker not out 12). Francis bowled best for the Post and Telegraph, as did L. Blunden for the College. \
