WELLINGTON, Dec. 3. The match was resumed at 11 a.m., with a poor attendance, and a high wind blowing. Cuff and G. Mills knocked up 64 before the former was bowled for 46, including seven 4's, though he should have been easily caught in the first over. The wicket was bumping a good deal, and at noon five wickets were down for 92 runs, Mills 18, Neill and Wynyard 18 each, Hay 0. Messrs P. Wilding, T. D. Harman and C. R. Smith have been appointed a sub-committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council, to make final arrangements in connection with the visit of the Queensland Eleven, and will meet to-morrow night to arrange for dates of matches and settle other matters.
