Canterbury Engineers. — The Canterbury Engineers are doing satisfactory work in their camp at New Brighton. The men have- been at work at 4.30 o'clock each moi-ning. As to-morrow is to be a general holiday the men will be in camp, and in the afternoon (probably about four o|clock) a submarine mine will be exploded in the river. Several shelter trenches have been excavated, and instruction is given in all branches by Captain Falconer.
