Mails close for the following places as under, subject tc the necessary alterations: — Wednesday, Dec. 2. For Port Robinson and Cheviot, per Wakatu, at 6.25 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.40 p.m. ; guard's van 7.45 p.m. train. Thxirsday, Dec. 3. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 7.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 8 p.m. ; guard's van, 9.15 p.m. train. Friday, Dec. 4. For Northern Ports, Australian colonies, via, Sydney, also Fiji, HaAvaiian Islands, British Colombia, Canada and United States, connecting with Miowera, leaving Sydney on Dec. 12, per Manapouri, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Saturday, Dec. 5. For Australian Colonies, via Bluff, Ceylon, India, China, &c. ; and also United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Suez, per express, connecting with Tarawera, at 10.30 a.m. ; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m. ; mail van, 11 a.m. train. Due London Jan. 19.

Mails for Puyseguv Point and Cromarty close at Invercargill on Dec. 3, at 9 a.m. Mails for Fiji, per Upolu, close at Auckland at 4 p.m. on Dec. 4. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti, per Taupo, close at Auckland on Dec. 5. Mails for West Coast Sounds close at Bluff on Dec. 5. Mails for Noumea and Fiji close at Sydney on Dec. 9.
