ADELAIDE, Nov. 2tf At the hospital inquiry Dr Corbin, while under examination with reference to an operation performed by Dr Napier, was asked by the Chief Secretary why he did not suggest that a certain course should be taken, and if he did not think that he should tyave interfered in the interests of humanity. Dr Corbin replied that he was so disgusted, and that he thought the greatest good to the greatest number was far more to be considered. He did not interfere because he hoped that Dr Napier would kill the patient and so damn himself for ever. He thought that if one case could raise the indignation of the sluggish public many cases would be saved.
