SUPREME COURT.

IN CHAMBEES. Friday, Nov. 27. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Denniston.) His Honor held a sitting in Chambers at 11 a.m. EE JAMES SINCLAIR (DECEASED). Mr Brown appeared in support of a motion, on petition, for leave to sell certain land at Lyttelton, and to invest it in the purchase of land in Auckland. His Honor said, that the information placed before him, in the supporting affidavit, whs not sufficient to enable him to j wl#e as to th > propriety of the course proposed. The application was postponed to enable further information to be procured. EE HEN&Y BUCSHTT, DECEASED. Mr Flesh er applied for an order, on petition, for anthoriby to pay certain trust moneys. His Honor made the order as prayed. RE HANNAH RIDLEY, DECEASED. Mr Helmoro applied for an order for executors' commission herein, and as the matter had already been mentioned to the Registrar, his Honor made the order as prayed. RE HENRT J. LE CREN, DECEASED. Mi" Knubley obtained an order, on petition, for leave for the trustee to carry on business heroin. His Honor granted pi'9ki£e of the wilfe of Francis Innes (Mr Joyce), Margaret' Moore (Mr Mills), Eachel Pentecost (Mr Helmore) and Mary Ann Eowe (Mr Knubley). Letters of administration were granted of the estates of Elizabeth F. Fullarton(Mr Wilding), Henry M. Beaumont (Mr Fereday) and Eeuben Flint (Mr Beswick). LAND TRANSFER ACT AND RE CERTAIN CAVEATS. Mr Beswick appeared in support of an order for the removal of caveats 1909; ISOB and 1872. Mr Hall appeared for the Holders of the caveats, and said that he was willing that the caveats should be> withdrawn unless proceedings were instituted within one month from date. His Honor made the order in those terms. smith v. smith and another (divorce). Mr Bruges appeared in support of a motion to dispense with personal service on the co-respondent, who, he stated, would not, if service dispensed with, be liable for costs. Mr Kirk appeared for the respondent. After some discussion his Honor made the order as prayed. Mr Kirk obtained leave for the respondent to file a reply within fourteen days.
