AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
rt*Ku Press Association/! DUNEDIN, Nov. 20. There is a large attendance at the show, and the weather is favourable. The judging of the horses was commenced early in tho day, and the principal prizes were awarded as under : — Four-year-old entire, Mv Douglas's Wallace, 1 ; Mr It. Gawu'a King of Quality, 2. Three-year entire, Mr li. Charters's, The Mackenzie, 1. The dry inarms, were a niagniiicent class, ami Mr W. Patrick secured first aud second honours. In, light horses Young Betrayer, among the carriage entires, was preferred to two Wicklow colts. Messrs I), and J. Bacon withdrew bodily from this and the hackney classes, on account of th^ir objection to tho appointment of a judge who was called ia to take the plate of the man originally selected. In hackney stallions Coelt o' the Walk teat Viking and others. The only representative of blood stock was the mare Vaultress. The hacks were poor, and there were only one or two good carriage horses. The leaping contests in the afternoon were very : successful.
