— ♦ — [Per Press Association.! DUNEDIN, Nov. 26. George Stephenson, a trimmer on the Talune, was fined 24s for smuggling one pound of tobacco. Gatfield's fellniongery at Burnside was burned down early this morning. The stock and plant were insured in the New Zealand Office for .£250. Wilson's Green Island Hotel was broken into this morning. The burglars removed the safe a distance of half a mile, when they found that it contained nothing.
