TPer Puess Association.! LONDON, Nov. 25. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,760,000 quarters and for the Continent 1,060,000 quarters. The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 79,100,000 bushels. Australian and New Zealand Mortgage. Company's 4-J- per cent stock is quoted at 101. Tallow, mutton, fine 21s 9d. medium 203. Beef, fino 19s Oil, medium 18s 3d. SYDNEY, Nov. 26. In connection with the development of the produce export trade the Government has decided to appoint an expert buttergrader, and also an expert in the preparation of rabbits, hares and poultry for shipment. In tho course of a year or two it hopes to establish a cool storage depot. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Limited, have received tho following cablegram from their heul office, dated LONDON 7 , Nov. 24. Wool sales opened. .Large attendance of buyers, competition very animated, good selection. Prices are on tho average 5 per cent higher than closing rates of last series. The advance is chiefly on greasy merino fleece, good combing and broken fleece and 'pieces, also scoured medium wools, but for short v/oosty wools prices are scarcely higher. So far hardly any crossbreds have been offered.
