At a sitting of the Supreme Court today Mr Walter Horace Brent was appointed liquidator, with Mr Cook, in the estate of Walter Guthrie and Co. as representing the debenture-holders. Mr E. W. Capstick, an old resident, wellknown in the early gold-field days, died to-day, aged seventy-seven.
