CHRISTCHURCH.
Wednesday, Nov. 25. (Before Mr E. Beethan, S.M.) Drunkenness. — For this offence Honora Setter, alias Haynes, was sentenced to seven days' imprisonment. Alleged Obstruction. — Eeginald Foster was charged with having, on Nov. 10, assembled with others, on the footpath so as to impede passers-by. Mr Thomas appeared for the defendant, who pleaded not guilty, and said that he had merely stopped for a moment in High Street to speak to a friend. The case was struck out owing to the non-appearance of the informant. Affiliation. — Coyran Thomas Huddy was adjudged to be the father of an illegitimate child, and was ordered to pay 6s a week towards its support, together with .£3 confinement expenses. Unregistered Dogs. — C. Stowell, James Weller, E. Hayward, George Dixon, Henry Smith and M. Baxter were each fined 10s and costs 7s for keeping unregistered dogs.
