GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
A fair export business has been doing during the past week in. feed stuffs, the bulk of which .has been in fulfilment of coastwise orders. A further shipment of 1520 bales of oatsheaves has left for Port Natal. The exports of grain and produce from Lyttelton for the week include : — 1870 sacks wheat, 1226 sacks and 415 bags flour, 666 sacks oats, 50 sacks barley, 400 sacks malt, 1703 sacks bran, 201 sacks sharps and pollard, 54 sacks meal, 6 sacks peas, 216 sacks seed, 129 sacks chicory, 4155 sacks chaff, 1520 bales oatsheaves, 592 bales hay and straw, 4932 sacks potatoes, 11 sacks onions, 62 cases cheese, 36 cases meats, 25 bales skins, 10 trusses leather, 16 bales flax, 66 cases »oap, 12 crates poultry, 72 cases eggs, and 44 cases fruit.
