— ♦ • THE EXCITEMENT IN PA ELS. [Per Press AssogIATWN.J PAKIS, Oct. 5. Paris is in a stale" of feverish excilement over the Czar and Czai'illa'p visit. The city is thronged with visitors, and it is said that quite forty thousand people are unable to find any accommodation. Fabulous prices •'have been paid for windows along the route through the city. Decorations aro lavished on a brilliant scale, paper foliage and blossoms being glued to .the chestnut trees on the BouleVtivds. ' Arrangementci have been made for a, round of splendid State functions, balls, banquets and illuminations. A review of seventy thousand troops will be held at a e;reat military camp at Chalons. Tiie Czar will visit Carnot's tomb. Much comment it> excited by the absence .of .Madame Faure, the President's wife, from the Imperial pro- ; cession. The reason put forward, which, however, is regarded as a mere pretext, is that there is no official place for her.
