INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.
[Per Press Association/) PALMEESTON NORTH, Sept. 7. The Industrial Exhibition -was opened by the Premier to-night. He dealt at .considerable length in his speech with the history of exhibitions, and the great strides Palmerston had made during the last irwen.ty years. The exhibits chiefly com•/prise home manufactures, most of which are intended for the Wellington Exhibition. The, display was very interesting and creditable, the entries numbering six hundred. The celebrated Eontgen X rays are in working order at this exhibition.
