ARRIVAL OF THE lONIC.
'ghe lonic, which left London on July 9, Capetown on July 30, and Hobart on August 22, reached here at five to-night. The weather was fine throughout. The vessel ■was delayed at the Cape four days owing to lack of facilities for coaling her. She brings seventy-four passengers for New Zealand. Passengers: For Lyttelton — Miss Bradshaw, Messrs French, A. Dick andF. Clerkson, Mr, Mrs and Miss Charters ; for Tunaru — Misses Smith (2), Messrs H. Gunn and J. Cunningham J
