Henry Wilson, the postmaster at Welshton, Florida, says he cured a case of diarrhoea of long standing in six hours with one small bottle of Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Eemedy. Mr J. C. Prudhoe presided. Addresses were given by Mr E. H. Turner, the Eevs J. Oi chard and W. Morley. The speakers all expressed thankfulness at the consummation of Methodist union, although regret was expressed that tho Primitive Methodists had not yet seen fit to join. Mr Morley gave some interesting figures, showing that the three Clnirches which had united had 260 places of worship entirely consecrated to divine service, 355 other preaching places, 117 ministers, 28 home missionaries, 450 local preachers, 11,000 members, 67,000 adherents, 2400 Sunday school teachers, and 24,000 Sunday school scholars. The total indebtedness was .£42,000, or only about £?> 15s -poi* member, or 12s Gd per adherent. In Victoria, which' was 'a great Methodist colony, the indebtedness was about three times as much.
