THE ESTEEATED BAIL.
A number of people have asked questions bearing upon the estreated bail, the main point being as to enforcement of the two sums of ,£2OO each,. Specific power in this "regard is given- by Section 6of the Crown Suits Act, 1881, and it is mandatory in its operation. Payment must be enforced, and the recapture of Kirby is no bar to the summary procedure for recovering the sums named in the bond.
