DISTRICT COURT.
[Peb Press Association,] WANGANUI, Mat 19. At .the District Court to-day D. B. Howard was convicted on two charges of sly grog-selling at Kariori, the fines and cost! totalling to within 18s of .£IOO. A case, Flyger' v. Castlecliff Railway Company, is now proceeding, plaintiff claiming ■£500 for damages alleged to have been sustained through defendants' negligence. The sum of .£BO was paid into court.
