Gondolier has been scratched for all engagements at the North New Zealand Grand National Meeting. , As some misapprehension seems to exist as to the date of the Canterbury Jockey Club's Annual Meeting, we have been requested to state that it will be held on Friday next, May 22. It was originally fixed for Thursday; but owing to the Canterbury Trotting Club's Winter Meeting taking place on that day, the alteration to the date above mentioned was made. The sale of privileges in" connection with the Canterbury Trotting Club's Meeting on Thursday and Monday next, were sold by auction by Messrs Tonks, Norton and Co. this afternoon. The publican's booth was sold to Mr P. Burke for .£7O for the two days, and the fruit and oyster stalls were sold to Mr Butcher for J53 5s for the two days. <
