A COLLISION.

[Special to Press Association.] NEW YORK, March 2. Tlie Bourgoyne sank the Ailsa in Now York harbour. The Ailaa was manned by a foreign crew, who rushed the boats and abandoned the vessel. Tlie passe-'gers took to the rigging, and were rescued by tugs. The Bourgoyne was uninjured. A middle-aged man named Frank Goodwin was admitted to the hospital about five o'clock this morning. He was going downstairs at Bligh's boarding-house at an early hour this morning, and thought he had reached the ground floor, when there was another flight of stairs. He stepped forward and fell down the stairs, fracturing his right arm.
