Presentation.— The pupils of the West Lyttelton school presented Miss Ewenson, who is leaving the school, with a handsome pair of silver vases. Miss Ewenson also received a complete edition of Dickens's works from the teachers. Miss Ewenson suitably thanked the scholars and teachers.
