[Peb Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Feb. 2-3. Application was made to the ChieJ Justice to fix April 13 as the date foi hearing the* case of Eegina v. Leonard Harper, removed from Christchurch. Hif Honor thought that the date was rathei too far off, and suggested Monday fortnight. Mr Skerrett, on behalf of the Crown, said that a fortnight was too early as there Were a number of witnesses to be brought to Wellington. Eventually it was agreed to consult the cause list, and mention the matter again. It was agreed that the case should be tried before a special jury, both sides to have the right pi challenging*.
