The Eingarooma Minstrels' Entertainment.— The secretary of the Hospital Lady Visitors' Association, which administers the destitute patients' relief fund, wishes to heartily thank, the Eingarooma minstrel troupe for their kindness in giving a performance for the benefit of the fund. -The net result of the entertainment was .£32, a result which is. much appreciated. . -The - Weather.— A . strong north-west gale was blowing in the northern district yesterday afternoon. Eain was falling on the hills, and towards evening heavy showers extended over the plains. The wind did a good deal of damage in the orchards. - At Ashburton yesterday, after a fine morning; a very strong nor'-west wind sprang up and blew hard all the afternoon and evening, raisin? clouds of dust and stopping threshing and harvesting operations. * My boy was taken with a disease resem kkng Woody flus - T1 "> first thing I thoiight of was Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Eemedy.
