For the Newmarket Handicap Conrallie receded to 100 to _2, as other horses were supported. Trentham was well backed at 100 to 4, Disparity was backed to win £10,000 at .100 to 3, and her party are very confident that she can win the big money to-day. The weather was fine and cool this morning, and the course in magnificent order. Wallace galloped half a mile in 51^sec. Lord Erchmond was sent two miles, winding up in 3inin 45. sec. Trentham rah three furlongs in 37-Asec. The. first race, the Hopeful Stakes, starts at 1.30. The Press Association representative fancies that either Courallie or Disparity will win the Newmarket Handicap.
