WAIKARI.

The monthly stock sale was held at Waikari yesterday. There was an entry, of 9000 sheep, and a complete clearance was made. Amongst the lots sold were : — ■ 383 six and eight-tooth cross-bred ewes 7a Gd, 780 merino, ewes ls 4d, 167 cross-bi'ed ewes 5s Id, 52 cross-bred lambs 8s 4d, 309 merino ewes Is fid, 269 Shropshire Down cross ewes bs Sd, 123 do fits 9d, 1100 halfbred owes (is 6d, 77 cross-bred ewes 7s Cd, 800 half-bred ewes 7s Id, 280 merino owea 2s _d, 660 merino ewes Xs 3d. There was also a large number of small lots cold at full market values.
