THE COLONIAL BANK LIQUIDATION.

• THE SUPKEME COUET DECISION. [Ter Pbebs Association.] DUNEDIN, Feb. 28. Justice Williams, in delivering judgment in re the Colonial Bank liquidators, said that there was sufficient before the Court to show that there should be an investigation of the books, and that the investigation should be undertaken by the permanent liquidators. None of the Directors of the bank should be liqxiidators, therefore Mr Larnach should not "be appointed. He preferred Mr Vigers to Mr Braund, and saw no reason why Mr Ramsay should not be appointed. Mr Simpson, who stood fourth in tho voting by the shareholders, would bo appointed third liquidator. The question of costs was reserved.
