The Sanitas Company is appealing to the Privy Council against the decision of the Court of Appeal, in connection with its proceedings against Ogle and Company, chemists, Auckland, for an alleged infringement of its trade mark. . Mr H. John Tonar, who recently, arrived from Great .Britain, has been appointed Private Secretary to Mr Carroll. The University Senate resumed this morning. Sir E. Stout's motion in regard to a middle district university was carried. The report of the Recess Committee on the results of the December examinations was adopted with the addition of the name of G. E. O. Fenwick to the list of junior scholarship winners in place of a winner who had\ retired. A supplement to the Gazette issued today contains the names of successful candidates in the junior Civil Service and teachers' examinations. . DUNEDIN, Feb. 27. ". The bulk of the returns now in show that Messrs Mackenzie, Ramsay and Galloway will be returned to the Education Board.
