SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

The monthly meeting,- oft the-South-brook School Committee was held on.Tuesevening; present — Messrs EUis-(ohairman^, Pickard, Blake and Bnckley;. Messrs- Ellis and Pickard were appointedi a Visiting Committee for the month. It was decided to vote for Messrs T.. W. Adamsj H. W. Peryman and E. P. Pole as members of the Board of Education. The Secretary was instructed to inform the parents of several •absentees that measures would be taken to enforce their children's attendance. A meeting of the Greendale School Committee was held on Feb. 25 ; present — Messrs T. W. Adams, T. Jarman, J. Thompson, "W. Johnson and Charles Rudd (chairman). A vote of thanks to the ladies who judged the sewing and the gardens was passed. It was decided to let the question of the swimming baths stand over until the Domain Board had considered the enlargement of the domain. The committee voted for Messrs Peryman, Meredith and Adams as members of the Board of Education.
