LATEST DETAILS. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 26. Locher had for some time endeavored to have the sale postponed, but was advised to leave things alone, as he had an action pending against Messrs Norbury and Trevor for breach of contract in not completing the contract for the erection of premises in the stipulated time. Mr and Mrs Locher are Swiss, and came to New Zealand five years ago. Locher was then possessed of means, but it is said that he has suffered heavy losses by speculation. Mr Norbury passed a fairly good night, and a further search will be made for the bullet to-day. Karl P. Locher ar.:! braille, his wife, were charged before Mr Wardell, S.M., this morning, with the attempted murder of Mr Norbury. Sir R. Stout appeared for both the accused. The police applied for a remand for a week, which was granted, the question of bail being deferred.
