The inter-club matches were nearly finished, and the concluding games will be played off probably on Friday. Auckland has won every match, Wellington has won three and lost one. Ponsonby lias won three and lost one. Auckland will play off against "Wellington and Ponsonby later on. The champion rink tournament commenced to-day and excited great interest. After the manner in which the Sydney team put down Christchurchi. their, advent was looked to with great anxiety.. • At the first head they, were a point ahead,, after which Auckland scored rapidly, the- game ending with a win for Auckland by 13 points. Mr Holland skippered the Auckland team, and Mr Kershaw that of Sydney. The following are the results of the inter-club matches at Ponsonby Green :— Auckland v.
