A special meeting of the Bootmakers' Union was held to-day to consider a telegrapi from the Federal Council that the employers had given twenty-one days' notice of withdrawal of the present statement. It was decided to approve of the action of the Council in submitting the. statement drawn up by the delegates immediately after the breaking up of the last conference.
