It was rumoured last week that the . parties connected with Admiral Hawke intend entering a lawsuit against the Takapuna Jockey Club for the recovery of . the stake in the Hobaon Stake, for which race, it will be remembered, the horse was disqualified on the ground of "no race." It turns out, however, that the owners are blocked by the rule on the subject, and no Court proceedings can follow, but it isunderstood that the matter will be brought before the Auckland Racing Club.
