OXFORD DISTRICT RACES.

A meeting of the Oxford District Race Committee was held on Friday. Mr John Ingram occupied the chair. It was resolved that all entries be sent in to the secretary on on before March 11, not later than 8.45 p.m. The following were appointed handicappers :— Messrs A. Henderson, G. J. Webster and John Gundry. It was decided to give the same stakes as last year, to close the course on the Saturday prior to the races, to submit the privileges to auction, and that all horses be ridden in proper colours. It was decided to hold the next meeting on March 13.
