CONGREGATIONAL UNION.

[Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, Feb. 10. The Congregational Union resumed this j morning, and the following officers were elected for the ensuing year :— Chairman, Rev N. H. Lyon, Auckland ; treasurer, Rev S.Foulds, Auckland; registrar, Rev C. H. Bradbury, Dunedin ; auditor, Rev J, Elkin, Auckland ; executive committee^ Revs Thomas, Burges, Warner, Rhodes, Glasson, Hallowes, Miller, Williams, Baker and Saunders, and Messrs Patterson, Wood, Hooton, Hall, Jago, Lindsay, Bradbury, Widdowson, Coull and Leigon. It was decided that next year's meeting of the Union should beheld in Christchurch. The report on the Pastors' Provident Fund, which was adopted, showed that the fund now amounted to .£6OO. Mv James Callender, Christchurch, was re-elected a member of the Board in connection with this fund. A deputation was received from the New Zealand Alliance, and the Rev — Lyon in replying on behalf of the Union assured the Alliance of the hearty co-operation of the Congregational Churches in the objects that the Alliance had set before it.
