The importer of p, ase of acids, which is supposed to have cased the fire on the steamer Cintra, was ted ,£2O for shipping it without proper recautions, and the captain of the steamei was fined J315 for carrying dangerous gods otherwise than on the upper deck. 1 CHARGE»OEMURDER. A labourer named Jdeph Sheil has been arrested for the supposd murder of a man named William M'Kal whose body was found in a street in Calton. Sheil, whose clothes were bloodstaifid, states that he and M'Kay were gointj home together at night, drunk, when thej were assaulted by four men,- that Sheil Vas knocked down and rendered unconscias, and that when he came to his senses hj found M'Kay by his side.
