Mr, Barney Barnato, the South African millionaire, addressing a meeting 'of shareholders interested iri South African ypntures, stated that the value of property in South Africa had depreciated to a very large extent during the last six months. He mentioned, that the gold-mines he represents yielded gold to the value of £1,750,000 in 1895, and paid nearly one million in dividends. PRETORIA, Jan. 14.
