, Yesterday afternoon a woman named Mrs Casle was admitted to the hospital suffering from a fractured leg. She was walking in her garden and slipped, and falling on her leg, broke it. Asa young man named Albert Moore was drawing a cork from a bottle of ammonia (overproof), the cork flew upwards, and a little of the bottle's contents got into one of his eyes, severely burning it. It will be some time before he is fit for work,' although he is progressing favourably. An inquest was held at the house of Mr James Bradshaw at Waddington yesterday on the body of Eebecca Boyce, his adopted daughter, who died very suddenly on Friday night. Mr H. W. Bishop was coroner, and' the jury elected Mr Gk H. Judd as foreman. After hearing the evidence of James Bradshaw, Mrs WatheW; and Dr Inglis the jury returned a verdict of death from heart disease. A little girl named Day fell from a dray at Sheffield on Saturday afternoon, and broke one of her legs. The child was removed to the vicarage, and the limb was set by Dr Inglis.
